Former Britain’s Got Talent judge Kelly Brook is to join the new cast of Calendar Girls. The play is based on a true story about a Woman’s Institute fundraising idea for a local hospital by posing nude for a calendar.
Fellow actors- Julie Goodyear, Janie Dee, Arabella Weir, Helen Lederer, Debbie Chazen and Jan Leeming- will also star in the production at the Noel Coward theatre in London. Kelly was hired by Simon Cowell as a fourth judge on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

The 29-year-old stunner only lasted six days on the programme before she was axed by the producers when they realized that the format did not work with four judges. Simon Cowell recently confessed that he felt “personally responsible” for the debacle surrounding the hiring and firing of the model.
Cowell told The Sun: “The decision was made very quickly; we probably didn’t consult enough people in hindsight.”It took forever to film and it really was one person too many for the show. We made a mistake. “Kelly was absolutely incredible about the whole thing, really understanding, she didn’t lash out or play the victim.” The 29-year-old has been on stage before when she appeared in Neil LaBute’s comedy ‘Fat Pig’ in the West End.
